IPS officer Abhishek Goyal (IPS:2005:KN) has been appointed to the post of Special Director of Enforcement in the Directorate of Enforcement in Delhi. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (22.01.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for appointment of Mr. Goyal to the post on deputation basis.
Ashu Mathur and Pawan Kumar empanelled for Chief Advisor positions in ICoAS
The proposal of the Department of Expenditure for the empanelment of two officers for promotion to the grade of Chief Advisor (Cost) in the Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS) at level 17 of the Pay Matrix for the panel year 2024 has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
It is noteworthy that Ashu Mathur, currently empanelled in the regular panel, is set to retire at the end of this month. Following his retirement, Pawan Kumar, who is presently empanelled in the extended panel, is considered as the officer next in line. Pawan Kumar is currently serving as the Additional Chief Adviser in the Department of Public Enterprise (DPE), Government of India.

In a significant development, the Madhya Pradesh government on Monday (22.01.2024) effected a major reshuffle involving the transfer of 12 IAS officers. This move saw key officials taking on new responsibilities within the administration.
The names of the officers and their posting are as follows:
- Dr. Rajesh Kumar Rajora (IAS:1990:MP), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Home; ACS, Religious Trusts and Endowments Department; Director, MP Tribal Research and Development Institute and ACS, Transport Deptt. In a recent development, the Madhya Pradesh government has elevated Kalpana Srivastava (IAS:1992:MP), a senior IAS officer, to the position of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS). Currently serving as the Principal Secretary in the Fisherman Welfare & Fisheries Development Department with an additional charge of the Aayush Department, Kalpana Srivastava will retain the same department in her new role as Additional Chief Secretary.
Bihar: 29 IAS officers get new posting orders
The Bihar government on Tuesday (23.01.2024) issued two separate orders outlining the transfer and posting of a total of 29 IAS officers. The first order encompasses the names of 13 IAS officers, while the second order pertains to the transfer of an additional 16 IAS officers. They all have been given postings after promotion.

MHA: Two IPS officers shifted, PD Nitya now posted in J&K
Following the approval of the competent authority, the Ministry of Home Affairs has recently issued transfer orders affecting two IPS officers within the AGMUT cadre. As per the directives, IPS officer PD Nitya (IPS:2016:AGMUT) has been reassigned from Ladakh to Jammu & Kashmir. Her prior roles include serving as SP in Leh and holding the position of SP (North) Jammu.
Conversely, Shree Ram R (IPS:2019:AGMUT) has been transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Ladakh, marking a significant change in his operational jurisdiction.
Delhi govt reorganizes Deputy Commissioner/DM assignments
The Delhi government on Tuesday (23.01.2024) issued orders for the transfer and posting of five IAS officers, leading to changes in the Deputy Commissioner/DM positions across four districts.

Delhi: IAS Awanish Kumar relieved from GNCTD
The Delhi government on Tuesday (23.01.204) relieved IAS officer Awanish Kumar (IAS:2014:AGMUT), who currently holds the position of Deputy Commissioner/DM in the Central district, from the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD). Awanish Kumar has been directed to report to the Lakshadweep Administration, as per the transfer order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on December 21.
Delhi: IAS Sudhir Kumar re-designated as Principal Secretary, Vigilance
The Delhi government on Thursday (18.01.2024) issued an order re-designating Sudhir Kumar (IAS:1999:AGMUT), who is presently serving as the Secretary-cum-Director of Vigilance. According to the order, Sudhir Kumar will now assume the role of Principal Secretary-cum-Director, Vigilance. The promotion is stated to be effective from January 1, 2024, or from the date of assumption of charge, whichever is earlier.
