Bihar: 29 IAS officers get new posting orders

The Bihar government on Tuesday (23.01.2024) issued two separate orders outlining the transfer and posting of a total of 29 IAS officers. The first order encompasses the names of 13 IAS officers, while the second order pertains to the transfer of an additional 16 IAS officers. They all have been given postings after promotion.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows (First Order):

1. Suresh Chaudhary (IAS:2008:BH), Settlement Officer, West Champaran, Bettiah, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Panchayati Raj Deptt.
2. Kishori Chaudhary (IAS:2011:BH), Additional Collector (Public Grievances Redressal)-cum- District Public Grievances Redressal officer, Buxar, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Revenue & Land Reform Deptt.
3. Satyendra Kumar Singh (IAS:2013:BH), Joint Secretary, Information and Public Relations Deptt, has been transferred and posted as City Commissioner, Begusarai.
4. Udita Singh (IAS:2014:BH), has been posted as Settlement Officer, Nalanda.
5. Taranjot Singh (IAS:2017:BH), City Commissioner, Nalanda, has been transferred and posted as Director, Animal and Fisheries Resources Deptt.
6. Vishal Raj (IAS:2017:BH), Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Madhubani, has been transferred and posted as Director, Technical Development, Industries Deptt.
7. Arif Ahsan (IAS:2017:BH), City Commissioner, Purnia, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Deptt.
8. Yogesh Kumar Sagar (IAS:2017:BH), City Commissioner, Bhagalpur, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Industries Deptt.
9. Anil Kumar (IAS:2017:BH), Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), West Champaran, Bettiah, has been transferred and posted as Project Director, Bihar AIDS Control Society.
10. Nitin Kumar Singh (IAS:2018:BH), Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Madhepura, has been transferred and posted as City Commissioner, Bhagalpur.
11. Pratibha Rani (IAS:2018:BH), Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Darbhanga, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), West Champaran, Bettiah.
12. Chandrima Atri (IAS:2020:BH), Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Darbhanga Sadar, has been transferred and posted as SDO, Mahua, Vaishali.
13. Deepesh Kumar (Non-SCS), has been posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Madhubani.

3. Shashank Shekhar Singh (IAS:2011:BH), Private Secretary to Minister in Social Welfare Deptt, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Water Resources Deptt.
4. Shiv Kumar Shaiv (IAS:2011:BH), Private Secretary to Minister in Mining and Geology Deptt., has been transferred and posted as Settlement Officer, Kishanganj.

8. Geeta Singh (IAS:2013:BH), Joint Secretary, Minor Water Resources Deptt., has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Deptt.
9. Arun Kumar Jha (IAS:2013:BH), Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), Shekhpura, has been transferred and posted as Settlement Officer, Khagaria.
10. Kamlesh Kumar Singh (IAS:2013:BH) has been posted as Settlement Officer, Purnia.
11. Sunil Kumar (IAS:2013:BH), Additional Collector (Public Grievances Redressal)-cum- District Public Grievances Redressal officer, Saharsa, has been transferred and posted as Settlement Officer, Munger.
