The Central government on Thursday extended the deputation tenure of T.K. Manoj Kumar (IAS:1987:KL) as Additional Secretary, Warehousing Development and Regulatory Athourity (WDRA) for a period of six months beginning 27.09.2019.
Deputation tenure of Richa Gahawar (IRS-IT:2002) as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat has been extended for a period of three months beyond 08 October, 2019.

After CBI raids, the Uttar Pradesh government on wednesday divested two IAS officers of their reposibilities and put them on waitlist. Ajay Kumar Singh (IAS:1998:UP) was the Secretary of Khadi and Village Industry Board, while Pawan Singh (IAS:2008:UP) was posted as a Secretary in the Department of Housing and Urban Planning.
On Tuesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted a raid and seized Rs 15 lakh from the residence of Singh, a former District Magistrate of Saharanpur.
The agency is probing allegations of wrongdoing in the allocation of sand mining leases in Saharanpur.

Abhishek Singh (IAS:1995:NL) has been appointed as CEO, (JS level), MyGov India, the government’s citizen-centric online platform. He will succeed tech entreprenure Arvind Gupta, who completed his tenure in July. Currently he is Secretary (JS level), in Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB).
Further, the additional charge of the post of Secretary, ASRB was given to Vivek Aggarwal (IAS:1994:MP) who is working as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture Cooperation & Farmers Welfare.
The CBI has registered fresh FIR in connection with a sand mining scam against 12 people, including two senior IAS officers- Ajay Kumar Singh (IAS:1998:UP) and Pawan Kumar (IAS:2008:UP)- serving as secretaries in the Uttar Pradesh government.
After filing the FIR , the agency carried out searches at 11 locations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, including at the residential premises of Singh and Kumar.
CBI recovered Rs 15 lakh in cash from the residence of Singh besides documents of two properties.
The FIR relates to alleged irregularities in renewal of sand mining leases in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district during the Samajwadi Party rule in the state.
