The Bihar government on Monday (07.03.2022) promoted two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of 1992 batch to Chief Secretary grade.
They are :
- Arunish Chawla
- Chanchal Kumar
Since both officers are on central deputation, they have been granted pro forma promotion. Chawla serves as Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC, while Kumar is Managing Director of National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.
