Benjamin Karunakaran (IA&AS:2012) was on Thursday (07.10.2021) selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Power. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
