Senior bureaucrat Atish Chandra (IAS:1994:BH) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (02.05.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Chandra to the post for the balance tenure of his central deputation or until further orders. Presently, he is serving as CMD, Food Corporation of India, Department of Food and Public Distribution.
