Atanu Bhowmick was on Wednesday (09.02.2022) appointed to the post of Director-in-charge (Rourkela Steel Plant), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Steel to appoint Bhowmick to the post of Director-in-Charge (Rourkela Steel Plant) from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation. At present, he is serving as Executive Director (ED), SAIL.
