Assam : Three IAS officers transferred

The Assam government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of three IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Manish Thakur (IAS:1998:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Secretariat Administration Department with additional charge as Divisional Commissioner, Barak Valley Division and Development Commissioner, Hill Areas.
2. Gyanendra Dev Tripathi (IAS:1998:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Environment & Forests Department with additional charges as Commissioner & Secretary, Implementation of Assam Accord and Boarder Protection & Development Departments and CEO, Assam State Disaster Management Authority.
3. M S Manivannan (IAS:2005:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Revenue & DM, General Administration with additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Home and Political Departments.
