The Punjab government on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders of five senior IAS officers in the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- Rahul Bhandari (IAS:1997:PB) : Director, Mines & Geology with additional charges of Commissioner, Firozepur Division, Resident Commissioner (Investment Promotion & Industrial Liaison, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi and Secretary, Water Resources and Mission Director, Directorate of Ground Water Management (Department of Water Resources).
- Veerendra Kumar Meena (IAS:1997:PB) : Secretary, Higher Education & Languages with additional charges of Printing & Stationery and Punjab State Human Rights Commission.
- Sumer Singh Gurjar (IAS:1998:PB) : Secretary, Freedom Fighter.
- Sibin C (IAS:2005:PB) : Director, Industries & Commerce with additional charges of Secretary, Industries & Commerce, MD, Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation, Director, Punjab Information and Communication Technology Corporation Limited.
- Neelima (IAS:2008:PB) : MD, Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation (PSIEC) with additional charges of Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of investment Promotion and MD, PUNCOM.
