Sasanka Sarmah (IRPS) has been posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Labour Welfare and Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes Departments. Before being placed at the disposal of state government by Railway Ministry, he was serving as CPO, Gaz Northeast Frontier Railway.
