The Assam government has promoted senior IAS officer Ashish Kumar Bhutani (IAS:1992:AM) to Chief Secretary grade. Presently, he is serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Transformation and Development Deptt, Agricultural Production Commissioner, Chairman, State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-III Posts and Chairman, ARIAS Society.
