Assam : 04 IAS officers transferred

The Assam government has issued transfer and posting orders of 04 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Dr. John Berchmans Ekka (IAS:1995:AM) : Principal Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development, Parliamentary Affairs, Labour Welfare and Tea Tribes Welfare Department is also posted as Principal Secretary, Transformation & Development Department as additional charge.
2. Gyanendra Dev Tripathi (IAS:1998:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Home, Political, Border Protection & Development and Implementation of Assam Accord Departments.
3. Dr. M Angamuthu (IAS:2002:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, WPT & BC, Tourism and Sports & Youth Welfare Departments and Commissioner, North Assam Division.
4. M S Manivannan (IAS:2005:AM) : Commissioner & Secretary, Revenue with additional charge of General Administration and Secretariat Administration Departments.
