Ashok Tiwari (IPS:1993:HP) has been appointed to the post of Inspector General (IG), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, he has been appointed to the post for a period of five years on deputation basis from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is posted as ADG, Himachal Pradesh Police.
