Arun Sharma (ICAS:2002) was on Thursday (03.02.2022) appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Electronics and Information Technology, in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Sharma for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
