S Arul Kumar (IPS:2008:HP) has been appointed as Dy. Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (01.08.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Kumar to the post for a period of five years on deputation basis from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
