In a major reshuffle in police administration, the Andhra Pradesh government on Friday (07.04.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 39 IPS officers. In this order, 13 districts got new police superintendents (SP).
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Ravi Shankar Ayyanar (IPS:1994:AP) has been posted as Additional DG (V&E) and EO Principal Secretary, General Administration (V&E) Department.
- Atul Singh (IPS:1995:AP), Additional DG (P&L), O/o DGP, has been transferred and posted as Chairman, SLPRB with full additional charge of Additional DG, APSP.
- Shankha Brata Bagchi (IPS:1996:AP), DG (V&E) and EO Principal Secretary, General Administration (V&E) Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional DG (L&O), O/o DGP with full additional charge of Additional DG, Personnel & Administration.
- Manish Kumar Jha (IPS:2000:AP) has been directed to report before the government after completion of the leave for further posting.
- Ch Srikanth (IPS:2002:AP), Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City, has been transferred and posted as IG, CID.
- V Venkatarami Reddy (IPS:2004:AP), IG, Training has been given additional charge of posts of MD, AP Police Housing Corporation and Additional DG (P&L), O/o DGP.
- CM Thrivikram Verma (IPS:2005:AP) has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City.
- G Pala Raju (IPS:2005:AP) has been posted as IG, Guntur Range, and IG, DISHA.
- GVG Ashok Kumar (IPS:2006:AP), Additional Director, ACB, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Eluru Range.
- M Ravi Prakash (IPS:2006:AP) has been posted as DIG, SEB.
- Sarvashresta Tripathi (IPS:2006:AP), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as DIG (Admn), O/o DGP.
- B Raja Kumari (IPS:2007:AP), DIG, DISHA & DIG, O/o DGP is transferred and posted as DIG, APSP.
- RN Ammi Reddy (IPS:2009:AP), AIG (L&O), Office of DGP, AP, is transferred and posted as DIG, Ananthapuramu Range.
- Koya Praveen (IPS:2009:AP), Commandant, 16 Battalion, APSP, Visakhapatnam is transferred and posted as DIG, Greyhounds.
- Ch Vijaya Rao (IPS:2010:AP) has been posted as Commandant, 3rd Battalion, APSP, Kakinada.
- Sudheer Kumar Reddy (IPS:2010:KN), SP, Dr, BR Ambedkar Konaseema District is transferred and posted as SP, East Godavari District.
- Fakkeerappa Kaginelli (IPS:2011:AP), has been posted as SP, CID.
- Siddharth Kaushal (IPS:2012:AP) is posted as SP, OCTOPUS.
- Vikrant Patil (IPS:2012:AP), Commandant, 5th Battalion, APSP, Vizianagaram is transferred and posted as SP, Parvathipuram Manyam.
- Gowthami Sali (IPS:2015:AP) has been posted as Commandant, 16 Battlions, APSP, Visakhapatnam.
- Garud Sumit Sunil (IPS:2015:AP) is posted as SP, SIB.
- Rahul Dev Singh (IPS:2015:AP) is posted as SP, Railways, Vijayawada.
- Ajitha Vejendla (IPS:2015:AP), Commandant, 14 Battalion, APSP, Ananthapuramu is transferred and posted as DCP, Jaggaiahpeta, O/o Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada.
- S Satish Kumar (IPS:2016:AP) has beeen posted as SP, Kakinada.
- Vasan Vidya Sagar Naidu (IPS:2016:AP) is posted as DCP (L&O), Visakhapatnam.
- Tuhin Sinha (IPS:2017:AP), Additional SP, Paderu, Alluri Sitha Rama Raju District has been transferred and posted as SP, Alluri Sitha Rama Raju District.
- M Ravindranath Babu (IPS-SPS) has been directed to report before the DGP for further posting.
- K V Murali Krsihna (IPS-SPS), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, Anakapalli District.
- P Sridhar (IPS-SPS), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, BR Ambedkar Konaseema District.
- D Mary Prasanthi (IPS-SPS), DCP (L&O), Vijaywada, has been transferred and posted as SP, Eluru.
- Rahul Dev Sharma (IPS:2010:AP), has been posted as Commandant, 5th Battalion, APSP, Vizianagaram.
- Tirumaleswar Reddy (IPS-SPS), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, SPS Nellore District.
- R Gangadhar Rao (IPS-SPS), SP, ACB, has been transferred and posted as SP, Annamayya District.
- V Harsha Raju (IPS-SPS) is posted as SP, CID.
- K Srinivasa Rao (IPS-SPS), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, Ananthapuramu District.
- SV Madhava Reddy (IPS-SPS), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, Sri Satya Sai District.
- G Krishnakanth (IPS:2017:AP), Additional SP, Operations, Rampachodavaram, Alluri Sitha Rama Raju District is transferred and posted as SP, Kurnool District.
- P Jagadeesh (IPS:2017:AP), Additional SP, Admin, Chittoor has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 14th Battalion, APSP, Ananthapuram.
- Bindhu Madhav Garikapati (IPS:2017:AP), Additional SP, Narasaraopet, Palnadu District is transferred and posted as SP, Greyhounds.
