AP: 57 IAS officers shifted, 8 Districts get new Collectors

In a major reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday (06.04.2023) transferred 57 IAS officers, including collectors of eight new districts, and gave them new postings.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Adityanath Das (Retd.IAS:1987:AP), Advisor to Andhra Pradesh government is relieved from the full additional charge of the post of Principal Resident Commissioner.
2. G Anantha Ramu (IAS:1990:AP), Special Chief Secretary, Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department is transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Minorities Welfare Department.
3. RP Sisodia (IAS:1991:AP), who is awaiting a posting, has been posted as Director General, AP Human Resources Development Institute.
4. B Sreedhar (IAS:1998:AP), MD, APGENCO & CMD, TRANSCO (FAC) has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary, A.P. Pollution Control Board.
5. S Suresh Kumar (IAS:2000:AP), Commissioner, School Education with the full additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Intermediate Education.
6. Saurabh Gaur (IAS:2002:AP), Secretary, IT Department is transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner, A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi.
7. Kona Sasidhar (IAS:2003:AP), Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, IT Department.
8. K Harshavardhan (IAS:2005:AP), Director, Social Welfare is posted as V.C & M.D., Sports Authority of AP. He will continue to hold the full additional charge of the post of Secretary, AP SC. Commission.
9. MV Seshagiri Babu (IAS:2006:AP), Commissioner, Intermediate Education is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Labour.
10. P Basanth Kumar (IAS:2006:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Sri Satya Sai District is transferred and posted as Managing Director, A.P. Swatchh Andhra Corporation.
11. Dr M Hari Jawaharlal (IAS:2005:AP), Commissioner, Endowments is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department.
12. Pravin Kumar (IAS:2006:AP), Commissioner & Director, Municipal Administration is transferred and posted as MD, APIIC with full additional charges of the posts of Commissioner of Industries and CEO, AP Maritime Board.
13. S Satyanarayana (IAS:2006:AP), MD, A.P. Skills Development Corporation is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Endowments with the full additional charge of the post of Secretary, (Endowments), Revenue Department.
14. A Surya Kumari(IAS:2008:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Vizianagaram District is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development.
15. P Koteswara Rao (IAS:2009:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Kurnool district is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Director, Municipal Administration.
16. G Veerapandian (IAS:2009:AP), VC & MD, AP Civil Supplies Corporation & Joint MD, AP MARKFED with full additional charge of the post of Director, Civil Supplies.
17. KVN Chakradhar Babu (IAS:2011:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, SPS Nellore District is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Energy Department for posting him as Managing Director, APGENCO with the full additional charge of the post of Joint Managing Director, APTRANSCO.
18. M Hari Narayan (IAS:2011:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Chittoor District is transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, SPS Nellore District.

47. The services of Narapu Reddy Mourya (IAS:2018:AP), who is on maternity leave are placed at the disposal of the M.A & U.D Department for posting her as Municipal Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation.
