Andhra Pradesh govt transfers six IPS officers in minor reshuffle

The Andhra Pradesh government has transferred six IPS officers, posting them as ASPs and OSDs in Markapur, Polavaram, Rajampet and other districts.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday (July 6, 2026) transferred six IPS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds. The reshuffle primarily involves Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), who have been posted as Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) and Additional SPs in different districts.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

  1. Niyojyoti Mishra (IPS:2021:AP), ASP, Chintapalli, has been transferred and posted as OSD (Administration), Markapur District.
  2. Patil Devraj Manish (IPS:2022:AP), ASP, Kakinada, has been transferred and posted as Additional SP (Administration), East Godavari (RJY).
  3. Manda Javali Alfons (IPS:2022:AP), ASP, Nandyal, has been transferred and posted as OSD (Administration), Polavaram District.
  4. Ramoj Ramasth Hegde (IPS:2022:AP), ASP, Rajampet, has been transferred and posted as OSD (Law & Order), Amaravati.
  5. Rohit Kumar Chaudhary (IPS:2022:AP), ASP, Tadipatri, has been transferred and posted as Additional SP (Administration), Palnadu District.
  6. Susmita (IPS:RR:2023), ASP, Jangareddygudem, has been transferred and posted as ASP, Nandyal.
