Amrit Abhijat was born on 21 June 1968 in Patna, Bihar. He spent his early years in Bihar, where he completed his schooling and developed a strong interest in academics. Since childhood, he was known as a sincere student who believed in learning and hard work.

His academic interests later helped him prepare for one of the toughest competitive examinations in the country—the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination.
