Amitabh Kumar (IRS-IT:1987) has been promoted to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Pr.CCIT) for the panel year 2021 with effect from 01.07.2021. Presently, he is on central deputation and serving as Director General (Shipping), Ministry of Shipping.
