Senior IAS officer Amit Yadav (IAS:1991:AGMUT), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (October 31, 2025), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge to Mr. Yadav till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, the position fell vacant following the repatriation of Rajesh Aggarwal (IAS:1989:MH) to his parent cadre, Maharashtra, on October 28, 2025.
