Alok Sharma appointed as ADG in SPG

Alok Sharma (IPS:1991:UP), Inspector General (IG), Special Protection Group (SPG) has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) in SPG, consequent upon his empanelment for holding ADG/ADG equivalent level post in Central Government by temporarily upgrading a post of IG in SPG to the level of ADG for remaining period of his deputation in SPG i.e upto 15.03.2022.
