The central deputation tenure of Alka Upadhyaya (IAS:1990:MP) as Chairperson, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been extended for a period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (02.04.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Ms. Upadhyaya for a period of one year beyond 09.04.2022.
