Akshay Shrikant Bapat, Executive Director, Coal India Limited (CIL), has been appointed as Director (Technical), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (31.05.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Bapat to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. 30.11.2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
