New Delhi: IAS officer Ajay Singh Tomer (IAS:2012:HY) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare (DA&FW), Delhi, for five years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (July 16, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment under central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Prior to this central posting, he was serving as Deputy Commissioner of Ambala in Haryana.
