A Manimekhalai appointed as Director on Board of GIC Re

Ms. A Manimekhalai, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD&CEO) of Union Bank of India, has been appointed as Director on the board of General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) for a period of three years. According to an order issued by the Department of Financial Services, the central government has appointed Ms. Manimekhalai to the post for a period of three years, or till the date of her tenure as MD&CEO, Union Bank of India, or till date of her superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
