The 1983 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, C. K. Mishra, presently Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change.
His appointment comes in the wake of vacancy caused due to appointment of Ajay Narayan Jha, IAS (MN 82) as OSD, Department of Expenditure.
