The Karnataka government on Saturday (October 17, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for eight IAS officers and one KAS officer, assigning new responsibilities to officers awaiting posting and transferring serving officers to new positions.
The notification includes appointments to the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Karnataka Housing Board, Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Limited and other departments and organisations.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Krishna Bajpai (IAS:2010:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Member, Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Bengaluru, relieving Bharathi D., IAS, of the concurrent charge.
- Latha R (IAS:2012:KN), Additional Commissioner (Development), Bengaluru North City Corporation, Greater Bengaluru Area, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Karnataka Housing Board, Bengaluru, vice Dayananda K.A., IAS, transferred.
- Archana M.S. (IAS:2012:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Limited (KSMCL), Bengaluru, vice Basavaraju, KAS, transferred.
- Dayananda K.A. (IAS:2012:KN), Commissioner, Karnataka Housing Board, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Backward Classes, Bengaluru.
- Venkat Raja (IAS:2013:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Managing Director, Karnataka Handlooms Development Corporation, relieving Basavaraju A.B., IAS, of the concurrent charge.
- Venkatesh T (IAS:2015:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Director, Horticulture and Director, National Horticulture Mission, Bengaluru, vice Ibrahim Maigur, IAS, transferred.
- Ibrahim Maigur (IAS:2017:KN), Director, Horticulture and Director, National Horticulture Mission, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Cane Development and Director of Sugar, Bengaluru.
- Mona Roat (IAS:2019:KN), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Additional Commissioner (Development), Bengaluru North City Corporation, Greater Bengaluru Area, vice Latha R., IAS, transferred.
- Sayeeda Aisha (KAS), Additional District Commissioner and Additional District Magistrate, Bengaluru Rural District, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Development Corporation, Bengaluru, relieving Dr. Ragapriya R., IAS, of the concurrent charge. The transfer is subject to the approval of the Election Commission of India in view of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
