Manoj Yadava (IPS:1988:HY) has been appointed as the new Director General of Police, Haryana. At present he is on Central deputation to the Intelligence Bureau as Additional Director. His tenure will be for a period of two years from the date of assuming charge.
After the retirement of former DGP BS Sandhu, the Haryana Government had appointed Dr KP Singh, a senior IPS officer of the 1985 batch, to assume charge of DGP, Haryana, in addition to his present duties.
The tenure of B S Sandhu, who was scheduled to retire in September 2018 had ended on January 31 after he was granted a three-month extension in service earlier.
