Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday (September 30, 2026) appointed senior IAS officer Babulal Meena (IAS:1991:UP) as Chairperson, Revenue Board.
He will replace Archana Agrawal (IAS:1990:UP), who is scheduled to retire on Wednesday evening. Agrawal had been holding the charge of Chairperson, Revenue Board since June 1, 2026, and Chairperson, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) since October 24, 2025.
Meena was serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Horticulture & Sericulture Department and Vibhagadhyaksha, Food Processing Department. He will continue to hold these charges on an additional charge basis.
Following Agrawal’s retirement, her additional charge of Chairperson, UPSRTC has been assigned to Amrit Abhijat (IAS:1995:UP) on an additional charge basis.
Abhijat is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, Culture & Religious Affairs, and Transport.
