Delhi govt transfers 5 IPS officers; Eish Singhal is posted as Additional CP, EOW

New Delhi: The Delhi Government on Wednesday (September 9, 2026) ordered the transfer and posting of five IPS officers with immediate effect. The order was issued on the recommendation of the Police Establishment Board.

The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:

1. Chinmoy Biswal (IPS:2008), Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations), has been given additional charge of Joint Commissioner of Police (IFSO).
2. Eish Singhal (IPS:2010), on arrival, has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (EOW).
3. Dinesh Kumar Gupta (IPS:2010), Additional Commissioner of Police (DPHCL), has been given additional charge of Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic).
4. Vikas Kumar (IPS:2013), on arrival, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic).
5. Isha Singh (IPS:2021), Deputy Commissioner of Police (Welfare), has been given additional charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Legal Cell).
