TN govt transfers two IAS officers; R Lilly named Commissioner of Stationery and Printing

Tamil Nadu government has transferred two IAS officers. R. Lilly is appointed Commissioner, Stationery and Printing, while Dr R. Sukumar is shifted.

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government on Friday (July 17, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:

R Lilly (IAS:2005:TN), Special Secretary to Government, Transport Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Stationery and Printing, in the temporary post created under Rule 4(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, vice Dr R. Sukumar, IAS.
Dr R Sukumar (IAS:2019:TN), Director, Stationery and Printing, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Administration.
