Uttar Pradesh transfers 5 IPS officers; Anil Singh posted as SP Rampur, SK Bajpai as SP Lalitpur

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday (July 17, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers. Notably, Anil Kumar Singh has been posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Rampur, while Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai has been appointed SP, Lalitpur. The reshuffle also includes the posting of Md Mustaque as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Police Commissionerate, Lucknow.

The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:

1. Anil Kumar Singh (IPS-SPS:2015), SP, Security Headquarters, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as SP, Rampur.
2. Gopal Krishna Chaudhary (IPS:2016:UP), DCP, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 32nd Battalion, PAC, Lucknow.
3. Md Mustaque (IPS:2016:UP), SP, Lalitpur, has been transferred and posted as DCP, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow.
4. Somedra Meena (IPS:2017:UP), SP, Rampur, has been transferred and posted as SP, Regional Intelligence, Agra.
5. Sanjeev Kumar Bajpai (IPS-SPS:2018), Commandant, 43rd Battalion, PAC, Etah, has been transferred and posted as SP, Lalitpur.
