New Delhi: Mohammed Ali Shihab A (IAS:2011:NL) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), Mangaluru, for a period of three years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (July 13, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post at Level 13 of the Pay Matrix for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Prior to his appointment on central deputation, Shihab was serving as Commissioner & Secretary, Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (P&AR) with additional charge of the Power Department in the Government of Nagaland.
