The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended T Vannia Perumal for appointment as Director (Production), Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL). The recommendation was made during the PESB selection meeting held on June 11, 2026.
Perumal is currently serving as Deputy General Manager (Training), Madras Fertilizers Limited.
Following the recommendation, his name will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval. The appointment will be subject to vigilance clearance and completion of other prescribed formalities.
Notably, the post of Director (Production), BVFCL fell vacant on October 1, 2025 following the superannuation of Pradip Kumar Banik, who had been serving in the position since his elevation in March 2023.
Since then, Megh Nath Goyal, Director (Technical), National Fertilizers Limited, has been holding additional charge of the post.
