Prabhat Kumar, Horticulture Commissioner, has been entrusted with additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (Joint Secretary level), Coconut Development Board (CDB).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for entrustment of additional charge of the post to him for a period of six months.
He will hold the additional responsibility with effect from April 6, 2026 to October 5, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
