Anupam Mishra, Director (Marketing), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved and ratified the recommendation made earlier by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). Mishra has been appointed to the post up to the date of his superannuation, that is February 28, 2030, or until further orders.
Notably, PESB had recommended Anupam Mishra name for the post on March 12, 2026 after conducting interviews for the selection.
He will succeed Sanjiv Kumar Singh, who is scheduled to retire on June 30, 2026. Singh has been serving as CMD of Hindustan Copper Limited since March 2025.
