The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday (May 12, 2026) announced a fresh round of IAS officer transfers and postings affecting several key departments, including Finance, Revenue Administration, Tourism and TASMAC.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;
- N Muruganandam (IAS:1991:TN), on return from leave, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management.
- MA Siddique (IAS:1994:TN), Additional Chief Secretary/ Managing Director, Chennai Metro Rail Limited, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department.
- Dr S Swarna (IAS:1997:TN), Principal Secretary/State Project Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Tourism, Cullture and Religious Endowment.
- K Nanthakumar (IAS:2007:TN), Registrar of Cooperative Societies, has been transferred and placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC), for appointment as its Managing Director.
