Gautam Thapliyal (IRS-C&IT:2016) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level), Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on April 9, 2026, the competent authority has approved his appointment under central staffing scheme for a period upto December 12, 2027 (combined tenure of 4 years of ex-cadre post and CSS post put together under the central staffing scheme) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
