In a key development, Arun Prasad T (IES:2008) has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (September 16, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared his appointment for an initial tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
