AP govt transfers 12 IAS officers, new Collectors posted

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday (September 11, 2025) ordered transfers and postings of 12 IAS officers. The move brings new Collectors and District Magistrates to 12 districts, marking a major shift in district-level governance.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Kritika Shukla (IAS:2013:AP), Director, Intermediate Education, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Palnadu District.
2. P Raja Babu (IAS:2013:AP), Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Prakasam District.
3. Himanshu Shukla (IAS:2013:AP), Director, I&PR and Ex-Officio Joint Secretary, General Administration (I&PR) Department, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Nellore District.
4. N Prabhakar Reddy (IAS:2013:AP), Joint Secretary, O/o the CCLA, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Parvathipuram Manyam District.
5. Nishanth Kumar (IAS:2014:AP), Director, Excise & Prohibition, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Annamayya District.
6. Dr A Siri (IAS:2015:AP), Director, Secondary Health, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Kurnool District.
7. V Vinod Kumar (IAS:2015:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Ananthapuramu District, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Baptala District.
8. Thameen Anasaria (IAS:2015:AP), Joint Collector & District Magistrate, Prakasam District, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Srikakulam District.
9. S Rama Sundar Reddy (IAS:2015:AP), Commissioner, Rehabilitation & Resettlement and Commissioner, CADA, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Vizianagaram District.
10. Kirti Chekuri (IAS:2016:AP), Joint Managing Director, AP TRANSCO, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, East Godavari District.
11. O Anand (IAS:2016:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Nellore District, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Ananthapuramu District.
12. A Shyam Prasad (IAS:2016:AP), Collector & District Magistrate, Parvathipuram Manyam District, has been transferred and posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Sri Satya Sai District (Tirupati), vice Sridhar Chiru (IAS:2016) transferred.
