The Central Government has assigned Devidatta Satapathy (IRSME:2009), Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port Authority (SPMPA), Kolkata, with the additional charge of CVO, Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Paradip.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (September 11, 2025), the competent authority has approved the arrangement for a period of one year from the date of assumption of charge, or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Satapathy, a 2009-batch Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer, will now oversee vigilance functions at both port authorities.
