Andhra Pradesh govt transfers 11 IAS officers; Anil Kumar Singhal gets TTD posting

Andhra Pradesh reshuffles 11 IAS officers; Anil Kumar Singhal named Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Monday (September 8, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 11 IAS officers across the state. According to the order, G Anantha Ramu, a senior IAS officer, has been posted as Special Chief Secretary to the Governor of Andhra Pradesh.

In a surprise development, Anil Kumar Singhal, who was recently posted to the Government of India as Chief Executive Officer of the National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA), has now been appointed as Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) — one of the most prominent and sensitive administrative assignments in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

  1. G Anantha Ramu (IAS:1990:AP), Special Secretary, EFS&T Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Governor.
  2. Anil K Singhal (IAS:1993:AP), who was waiting for posting, has been placed at the disposal of the Revenue (Endowments) Department for posting as Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
  3. MT Krishna Babu (IAS:1993:AP), Special Chief Secretary, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department. He has also been given full additional charge of Special Chief Secretary, Infrastructure & Investments Department.
  4. S Jyamala Rao (IAS:1997:AP), Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, has been withdrawn from Revenue (Endowments) Department and posted as Principal Secretary (Political), General Administration Department.
  5. Mukesh Kumar Meena (IAS:1998:AP), Principal Secretary (Political), General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Revenue (Excise). He has also been given full additional charge of Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (Mines).
  6. Kantilal Dande (IAS:1999:AP), Principal Secretary, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, EFS&T Department.
  7. Saurabh Gaur (IAS:2002:AP), Commissioner of Civil Supplies & Secretary, Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department with full additional charge of Commissioner of Civil Supplies & Secretary, Consumer Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies Department.
  8. Pravin Kumar (IAS:2006:AP), Secretary, Industries & Commerce (Mines) Department, has been transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner, AP Bhavan, New Delhi.
  9. Ch. Sridhar (IAS:2006:AP), Commissioner, Minorities Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Minorities Welfare Department. He has also been given full additional charge of Commissioner, Minorities Welfare.
  10. MV Seshagiri Babu (IAS:2006:AP), Commissioner of Labour, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department. He has also been given full additional charge of Commissioner of Labour.
  11. Dr M Hari Jawaharlal (Retd. IAS), Secretary to Governor, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Revenue (Endowments) Department.
