Manoj Kumar Jain (IRAS:2000), Executive Director (Engg/IT) (JS level), Food Corporation of India (FCI) headquarters under the Department of Food and Public Distribution, has been repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (September 3, 2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the proposal of the Department of Food and Public Distribution to repatriate him on administrative grounds with the imposition of an extended cooling-off condition.
Jain was initially appointed on March 15, 2024, as Executive Director (Engineering/IT) at FCI headquarters for a five-year tenure. However, his posting has been curtailed much earlier than expected, as his tenure was scheduled to continue until 2029.
