The central government on Tuesday (September 2, 2025) approved the promotion of Ms. Diptasri Barma Arora (IRS-C&IT:1991) to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes (HAG).
According to an office order, Ms. Arora has been elevated to Level 15 of the Pay Matrix against the panel year 2020. The promotion is effective on a notional basis from September 11, 2020, and on an actual basis from the date she assumed charge of the post on an ad-hoc basis, until further orders.
Ms. Arora has served in various capacities within the Customs and Indirect Taxes cadre and brings over three decades of experience in the service.
