Punjab govt transfers 22 IAS and 8 PCS officers

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Punjab Government on Wednesday (August 20, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders of 22 IAS officers, 8 PCS officers, and 1 IFS officer.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Vikas Pratap (IAS:1994:PB), available for posting, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Women & Child Development.
2. Sumer Singh Gurjar (IAS:1998:PB), Principal Secretary, Elections, has been given additional charge of Financial Commissioner, Corporation.
3. Mohammad Tayyab (IAS:2007:PB), available for posting, has been posted as Secretary, Jails.
4. Gurpreet Singh Khaira (IAS:2009:PB), Secretary, Local Government with additional charge of Director, Local Government, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Justice.
5. Sandeep Hans (IAS:2010:PB), Director, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Industries & Commerce for posting as Managing Director, Punjab Information and Communication Technology Corporation Limited (Punjab INFOTECH).
6. Girish Dayalan (IAS:2011:PB), Registrar, Cooperative Societies, has been given additional charge of Managing Director, The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited.
7. Kulwant Singh (IAS:2012:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Mansa, has been transferred and posted as Director, Local Government.
8. Baldeep Kaur (IAS:2012:PB), Special Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, has been given additional charge of Director, Colonization.
9. Showkat Ahmad Parray (IAS:2013:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Finance with additional charge of CEO, Punjab Waqf Board.
10. Parneet Shergil (IAS:2013:PB) has been posted as State Transport Commissioner.
11. Jitendra Jorwal (IAS:2014:PB), Additional Commissioner, Excise, Patiala with additional charge of Additional Commissioner, Taxation-I, Patiala, Excise Commissioner, Taxation Commissioner and Special Secretary, Excise & Taxation, has been transferred and posted Special Secretary, Excise & Taxation with additional charge of Additional Commissioner, Excise, Patiala; Additional Commissioner, Taxation-I, Patiala and Excise Commissioner, Taxation Commissioner.
12. Jaspreet Singh (IAS:2014:PB), State Transport Commissioner, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Food Processing with additional charge Mission Director, Food Processing.
13. Rajesh Dhiman (IAS:2014:PB), Project Director, World Bank Project, Department of Social Education-cum-Special Secretary, Social Education, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda.
14. Sandeep Rishi (IAS:2015:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
15. Gautam Jain (IAS:2017:PB), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Personnel with additional charge MD, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation Ltd.
16. Gulpreet Singh Aulakh (IAS:2015:PB), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation with additional charge of Director, Land Records, Settlement, Consolidation & Land Acquisition, Jalandhar.
17. Ravinder Singh (IAS:2017:PB), Additional Secretary, Labour with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board.
18. Rahul Chaba (IAS:2017:PB), Additional Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion with additional charge of Director, Punjab INFOTECH.
19. Vimmi Bhullar (IAS:2018:PB), Additional Secretary, Social Security, Women & Child Development with additional charge of Joint Director (Admn.), O/o Director, Social Security, Women & Child Development and Member Secretary, Punjab State Women Commission, has been transferred and posted as Director-cum-Additional Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities.
20. Navjot Kaur (IAS:2018:PB), Additional Secretary, Personnel with additional charge of Director, Colonization, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Mansa.
21. Bikramjit Singh Shergill (IAS), Managing Director, PRTC, Patiala, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.
22. Ayush Goel (IAS:2023:PB) has been posted as SDM, Tapa.
23. Kalpana K (IFS:2014:PB), Additional Secretary, School Education, has been given additional charge of Project Director, World Bank Project Department of School Education.
24. Daljeet Kaur (PCS:2004), Additional Managing Director, Punjab Information & Communication Technology Corporation Limited with additional charge of Additional Secretary, NRI Affairs.
25. Isha Singhal (PCS:2012), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Admin).
26. Simerpreet (PCS:2014), SDM, Tapa, has been transferred and posted Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Patiala.
27. Geetika Singh (PCS:2014), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), SAS Nagar, has been give additional charge of Member Secretary, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Punjab.
28. Jiwan Jot Kaur (PCS:2014), available for posting, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs.
29. Shivraj Singh Bal (PCS:2016), Estate Officer (Housing), Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar, has been transferred and posted as Staff Officer to Commissioner, Ferozepur Division, Ferozepur.
