Saurav Pahari (IAS:2008:WB), currently serving as Deputy Chairperson of the Tea Board in Kolkata, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre, West Bengal.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (06.06.2025), the competent authority has approved the Department of Commerce’s proposal to repatriate Mr. Pahari on personal grounds.
Notably, he had joined the Tea Board on March 15, 2022, for a five-year tenure, but is returning to his cadre 1 year and 9 months ahead of schedule.
