Bihar: 7 IPS officers shifted; Kundan Krishnan posted as ADGP, Hqrs

The Bihar government on Tuesday (03.12.2024) enacted significant changes in police administration by issuing transfer orders for seven senior IPS officers. Senior IPS officer Kundan Krishnan, who was recently repatriated to parent cadre, has been appointed as ADGP, Headquarters.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Jitendra Singh (IAS:1993:BH), DGP, Civil Defence with additional charge of DGP, Headquarters, Patna, has been relieved of the charge of
   DGP, Headquarters, Patna.
2. Kundan Krishnan (IPS:1994:BH), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as ADGP, Headquarters, Patna.
3. Pankaj Darad (IPS:1995:BH), ADGP, ATS with additional charge of ADGP, Special Vigilance Unit, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Law & Order with additional charge of ADGP, Special Vigilance Unit, Patna.
4. Sanjay Singh (IPS:1997:BH), ADGP, Law & Order, Patna, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Training, Patna.
5. Shaleen (IPS:2001:BH), IGP, Bihar SAP, Patna with additional charge of IGP, Special Task Force, Patna, has been transferred and posted as IGP, ATS with additional charge of IGP, Bihar SAP, Patna.
6. Vivek Kumar (IPS:2007:BH), DIG, CID, Patna, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Eastern Region, Bhagalpur.
7. Vivekanand (IPS:2008:BH), DIG, Eastern Region, Bhagalpur, has been transferred and posted as DIG, STF, Patna.
