The Punjab government on Monday (23.09.2024) implemented a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, issuing transfer and posting orders for 25 IAS officers and 99 PCS officers across the state.
The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;
- Alok Shekhar (IAS:1994:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Jails with additional charge of posts of Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries and Additional Chief Secretary, Justice, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities.
- Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari (IAS:1994:PB), Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Transport.
- Rahul Bhandari (IAS:1994:PB), Awaiting posting orders, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries.
- Rahul Tiwari (IAS:2000:PB), Administrative Secretary, Housing and Urban Development with additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Power and CMD, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. has been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, New & Renewable Energy Sources.
- Sandeep Hans (IAS:2010:PB), Special Secretary, Personnel with additional charge CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, has been transferred and posted as Director, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities with additional charge of Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
- Sanyam Aggarwal (IAS:2012:PB), Special Secretary, Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda.
- Harpreet Singh Uppal (IAS:2015:PB), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Special Secretary, Revenue with additional charge of Director, Sports and Youth Services.
- Aditya Uppal (IAS:2015:PB), Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot, has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Pathankot.
- Abhijeet Kaplish (IAS:2015:PB), Additional Chief Electoral Officers, Punjab, has been transferred and posted as Mines and Geology with additional charge of Secretary, Punjab Development Commission.
- Neeru Katyal Gupta (IAS:2016:PB), Awaiting posting orders, has been placed at the disposal of Department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority.
- Ravinder Singh (IAS:2017:PB), Managing Director, PRTC, Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Director, Higher Education.
- Varjeet Walia (IAS:2018:PB), Additional Principal Secretary, Chief Minister, has been given additional charge of CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
- Ankurjeet Singh (IAS:2018:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Pathankot with additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Pathankot, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal Department of Local Government for posting as Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar.
- Chandrajyoti Singh (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Secretary, Vigilance and Coordination, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Roopnagar.
- Ojasvi (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority, Ludhiana, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Faridkot.
- Nikas Kumar (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Amritsar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Hoshiarpur.
- Harjinder Singh (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural), Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Pathankot.
- Kanchan (IAS:2020:PB), Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Patiala, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Vigilance with additional charge of Additional Secretary, Coordination.
- Ms. Aparna MB (IAS:2021:PB), SDM, Malerkotla, has been transferred and posted as SDM, Sultanpur Lodhi.
- Simarandeep Singh (IAS:2021:PB), SDM, Tarn Taran, has been transferred and posted as SDM, Raikot.
- Jaspinder Singh (IAS:2022:PB), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SDM, Dina Nagar.
