Haryana Government has promoted three IPS officers of 1988 batch to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) on Thursday.
The officers were holding ADGP rank at present.
Prashanta Kumar Agrawal has been posted as DGP, Crime. Sudhir Chowdhary has been posted as DGP, Human Rights and Litigation.
While Manoj Yadava has been granted proforma promotion as he is on central deputation.
Notably, with the promotion of the three IPS officers, the strength of DGP-level officers in the state has gone up to 12.
